Butterflies of the Philippines: GIVEAWAY

Butterfly 2Summer is here!  And so are the butterflies!  Have you heard that Butterflies of the Philippines is at the Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati?

Our family always enjoys the butterfly show at the Conservatory and this year is no exception.  My kids love to wander around the plants and see if the little creatures will land on their shirts or fingers.

Sometimes it takes a little while, but this is one of those times that they actually have patience.

This years show is presented by Macy’s.  Here is what the Conservatory has to say about the show:

This season, the colorful and exotic Butterflies of the Philippines will preside over a majestic tribute to the marvelous Filipino culture. The showroom will be filled with butterflies soaring among bold displays that will immerse visitors in a sumptuous tropical environment.A large, dramatic mural of an erupting volcano and a wildly cascading waterfall will provide a striking backdrop for many tropical plants such as ornate orchids, brilliant bromeliads, delicate anthuriums and dramatic dracaenas.

Travelling far away to the paradise of the Philippines will be as easy as a trip to the Krohn! The entire conservatory will be transformed— brilliantly showcasing the life, the culture, and stunning natural beauty of the Philippines.

This year’s show ends June 21.

I like the butterflies that look like they’re lavender. They never let us catch them at the show but they’re beautiful to look at.
