Red Gold Aioli
What is aioli??
Aioli is a creamy mayo-like sauce that is used as a sandwich topping, dip or spread. It is usually made with mayo, tomatoes and other herbs and spices to give it a signature taste. It can be used on a variety of foods and adds a delightful taste to crab cakes, tacos, breads and more.
My kids love it!
Last week, Red Gold sent me a 5-pack kit of different types of tomatoes, a cool apron, super cute spreading knife and TEN of their new Aioli recipes!
- Best Year Round BLT
- Chipotle Aioli
- Tomato Aioli
- Lime & Cilantro Aioli
- Sriracha Aioli
- Pesto Aioli
- and more…
These recipes are incredibly easy to make and typically involve adding just a 1/2 cup of LIGHT mayo to the can of tomatoes. The flavor of the aioli changes based on the type of tomatoes added. Red Gold was nice enough to include varieties of tomatoes such as ‘lime & cilantro’, ‘green chiles’, ‘garlic & olive oil’, ‘chipotle’ and more.
Some of the more involved aioli recipes, which are not really that complicated, included adding pesto, thyme, horse radish or other ingredients. See? That’s still super easy!
